Last Friday we had the opportunity to go to the headquarters of Levante El Mercantil Valenciano on the occasion of the series of talks of Campus Executive.

Campus Executive is an initiative developed by the Levante newspaper with the objective of making known, in an entertaining and informative way, the advances of industry 4.0 and the technology applied to it. This initiative has been developed together with the College of Industrial Engineers of the Valencian Community.

According to the newspaper itself, the bases or pillars of Campus Executive are three: “continuous improvement, learning through innovation and obtaining visibility in a competitive market.”

The Campus training is divided into 9 intensive sessions in which, as teachers, first level professionals in consolidated companies in the Valencian Community participate.

Innoarea’s mission in module 5 of this Campus was to map the advances, both marketing technicians, in the areas of virtual reality, mixed reality and augmented reality. The speakers were Alex Colombini (CTO of Innoarea) and José Luis Montesinos (marketing and communication assistant for Innoarea).

During his speech, Alex Colombini focused on technical advances (especially in the field of hardware) that allow the continuation of the continuous progress of the aforementioned areas. José Luis Montesinos, on the other hand, was in charge of treating the marketing aspect applied to this type of technologies.

The teaching team of Module 5 of the Executive Campus was also integrated by representatives of both the systems engineering company Arisnova (Iván Cuevas) and the Navantia naval (Juan Luis Muñoz and Mario Benito), who contributed their knowledge and perspective on the production of 3D content and virtual reality, as well as their applications.
